The Parent & Tot class brings together parents and children once a week in a nurturing environment. We work and play together, prepare a snack, celebrate the seasons, and enjoy songs, stories and finger games. We use a rhythm of work and imaginative play to develop skills for healthy social interactions. Our program seeks to aid young children in building a secure bridge to their expanding world, while at the same time supporting adults in their conscious parenting. Seasonal crafts and activities include bread baking, preparing snacks, felting, sewing, and making simple dolls and toys.

We offer Parent & Tot classes on Thursdays and Fridays at a lovely, peaceful, home-based space especially suited to the toddler, with gardens and chickens to invite interest outside. The location, at 3055 NE 98th Street, is conveniently located near our main school campus.
For parents registered for the class, there will be an orientation evening prior to the start of the session. This adults only meeting will provide you with a valuable orientation to the class and an opportuntity to meet our Parent & Tot teachers, Lisa Wolfe and Holly Koteen-Soulé.
The age requirement is 12 to 36 months old. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Parents registered in the first session receive priority for re-enrollment in subsequent sessions. We always try to meet the families’ class preferences; however the age range of children enrolled may indicate a better fit in an alternate class.
Six-week session fee is $175; seven-week session fee is $210. Choose either 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. OR 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on either Thursdays OR Fridays. Classes meet at 3055 NE 98th Street, Seattle, WA 98125. Register for one or more sessions by sending registration form and payment in full.

Session fees are payable at the time of registration. A payment schedule can be arranged for those who need it. The fee includes all supplies for craft activities and snacks.
