Student Life

Our students are interested in learning to connect with and form an engaging sustaining social network. Students see and are seen in the best of ways. They get to know their classmates and teachers well, appreciating strengths and learning to work with differences.

Student Council

The Student Council is composed of two elected representatives from each class and a faculty advisor. One representative serves as the communication link between his or her class and the council; the other participates in our Conflict Resolution Committee. Student Council sends a representative to the faculty meeting to report and bring student concerns. The entire council works by consensus:

• To coordinate student events and activities
• To provide communication between the students,
the Faculty, the Board, and the parents
• To address student concerns at the school.

Student Code of Conduct

The Student Code of Conduct is a guideline developed by the students for appropriate behavior on school campus and peaceful relations among students. This code is supported and held by the student body and the faculty. When important breaches of the Code are reported they will be addressed by the Conflict Resolution Committee — composed of three student representatives and the faculty class sponsors — which will meet to resolve the issue in a peaceful and constructive manner.
