With our hands-on approach, students examine technology from the inside out: What’s behind an invisible microprocessor that makes it work?
Students start with mechanics in grades nine and ten, working with bicycle gears and derailleurs—which also helps them prepare for our bicycle trip! From these simple mechanical systems, students progress to energy generation in the eleventh grade as they tackle the abstract subjects of electricity and magnetism.
All of our students also use computers regularly in their high school classes, for ongoing research projects and for analysis in math or science.
