Teacher and Student Journey Together

In first grade, students join an inspiring Waldorf teacher and class—they then journey together through eight years of social, emotional and intellectual growth. In this tight-knit community, relationships thrive, teachers become intimately familiar with each student’s developmental strengths and needs, and students openly collaborate to solve rigorous academic challenges.

Students enjoy daily holistic exploration of:

  • Academic inquiry, story, music, art, movement, nature and creative imagination.
  • Group settings that foster respect for peers as diverse individuals.
  • Thoughtful, in-depth morning lesson blocks—spanning 3-4 weeks at a time.
  • Afternoon specialized lessons in world languages, gardening and the arts.

Our curriculum engages students’ hearts, heads and hands—building self-reliance and self-knowledge—while preparing children emotionally, physically and academically for the challenges and rigor of high school.
