The Seattle Waldorf School preschool offers young children nourishment for their imaginations, physical challenges for their bodies and a loving, beautiful environment for their hearts.
Every morning the children enjoy being outside and inside. Splashing in puddles, marveling at the budding daffodils, or running with the winds brings a glow to their round cheeks. Indoor time helps the children learn to play together. Homemade snacks keep them fueled for mornings filled with movement and fun.
Seasonal activities and festivals mark the rhythm of the changing natural world throughout the year. In the fall the children grind and savor sweet applesauce. In the winter they make lanterns to lighten the darkness, and in the spring they herald in the new life with a small parade in the neighborhood.
